Houses of Parliament tour, 22 June 2016

Through the kindness of Barry Gardiner MP, & on the eve of a turning point in British politics, we were given a tour of the Houses of Parliament. We were there the day before the EU Referendum & and a week after the horrific murder of Jo Cox MP.

Photos are only permitted in a few specific areas but it included the ancient Westminster Hall with spectacular hammer beam ceiling,  brass plaques in the floor, and the newest piece of stained glass – a commemoration of the struggle for women’s suffrage.
