September 2026 – From Page to Stage

In a last minute change to our schedule due to an air traffic control-related incident, we were finally treated to a talk from our President, Caroline Waterman who shared her vast experience as a Costume Supervisor on multiple productions from the world of TV, Theatre and Opera. Caroline reminded us that the term “costume drama” can apply to all productions, not just those set in other periods. No-one who was in the audience will ever be able to watch any productions again without a deep appreciation for the role of costume in creating rich, imaginary worlds.
