Short walks have resumed on a monthly basis, on the first Friday of each month. Details from Rebecca.
Friday 10 April – Grand Union Canal
Five of us braved the cyclists on the Grand Union Canal towpath to walk from Ladbroke Grove Sainsburys to Little Venice. We were rewarded with a close up view of the iconic Trellick Tower, a glimpse of a fox on the bank opposite, not to mention geese, snowdrops, blossoms and comfrey. A lovely spring walk.
Friday 6 March – Kensal Green Cemetery
Another interesting and informative walk around Kensal Green Cemetery, followed by delicious refreshments in the Dissenters’ Chapel. Special thanks to Johanna Holmes, Chair of the Trustees of The Friends of Kensal Green Cemetery for welcoming us.
Friday 2 January – Hampstead Cemetery
Eight of us braved the icy weather to start the New Year on a beautiful crisp winter’s day in this hidden gem on our doorstep.

Six of us enjoyed a lovely walk in perfect crisp December weather
Friday 2 May – Kew Gardens
Another lovely Friday Walk, this time around Kew Gardens, enjoying the Bluebells, Laburnum Arch and much else, including a picnic lunch on the steps of the Palace and lots of chatting
